By having done deconstructions on both Lucozade ads, pre 1980’s and one contemporary, the overall point i have easily discovered it that this was once a drink aimed at tired children who needed to restore their energy while playing to now being aimed at older athletes and with the mix of extra sugar and chemicals this really does help them revitalize their energy on the pitch, court, track, gym, course, ring, rink, field or hall. The marketing of the older ads were a lot more simple and very family friendly and targeted to all members in the house positively, whereas now people don't see them as positively as the consumers would hope, they are really seen as unhealthy to younger children with the mix of extra sugar and the overall mixture of caffeine is what puts adults of from purchasing.

After creating this mood board of famous music magazine mastheads; I was inspired to choose a few for my own cover as well as choosing a name.

In this brief I have been asked to complete a number of posts which will then eventually lead to my magazine cover and contents page. For this i am planning on going with a R&B themed music magazine, i will go and deconstruct mostly R&B magazines and artists but will try to include alternative rock and pop for the task. I plan on researching to get my focus group with intended target audience which will depend mostly on them enjoying R&B and really being fond of that music genre in particular. I am then going to have to survey to identify gaps in the market to make a reader profile and directed target audience, i can do this in public or use social media. I will have to be final with the genre as i will then have to research font styles and features also the model’s style and the final name of the magazine. When i have decided and can imagine my basic layout i will have to complete a shot list which will include the six key images i plan to take. Once i have completed that i will go on to complete a flat plan which compares the real media texts. However i will need to feedback on my design and complete model consent forms to certify my blog. To do all this i will have to really put in a lot of effort and research quite a bit to expand my knowledge to produce a good final piece.
